Star was a beautiful blue GSD who came into the shelter under horrifying circumstances. Her and a group of other Shepherds were taken away from their owner due to abuse and neglect. The owner went to jail for his crimes and although a shelter worker desperately wanted to adopt Star, the offensive owner had his sister come in and retrieve the dogs. Sadly, we have no idea what happened to Star or if she is even still alive.
