Kahlua is a Liver female who was abandoned at the Martinez Shelter in California. Here she poses just minutes after graciously allowing an 8 year old girl to gently brush her after being pulled from the shelter.

This shot was taken minutes after we retrieved her from the kennel she spent the night in after being rescued from euthanization at the shelter by Lynn K. from the San Francisco Bay German Shepherd Rescue at 4:30 pm on Friday September 1. Her death was scheduled a mere 30 minutes later.

Kahlua is approximately 2 years old and in good health. She has been caught up to date on her shots and is extremely loveable and intelligent.

Kahlua is extremely people and dog freindly. She is also wonderful with children.

Kahlua is an exceptionally beautiful liver German Shepherd. Shelters often mistakenly mark Livers and Blues as German Shepherd mixes because of their color. This was the case with Kahlua as well.
